Losing weight quickly, it is the wish of many people who want to lose their pounds. You have probably heard of dieting miracles that you promise to lose weight quickly. Be careful! Such schemes could bully your body and you do not go out a winner in the medium or long term.

Here’s why regimes rapid low in calories are not advisable:

Initially, the scheme low in calories seems to work and you find that you’ve lost weight. The reality is that you do not really lost this fat.

What happened is that you simply exhausted your reserves of glycogen, a form of carbohydrates stored in muscles and liver. And as the loss of glycogen occurs leading to the loss of water in your system, you have the impression of having lost weight rapidly.

Once your body has exhausted glycogen, it enters a state of famine, implying that the protein in muscles are now used as a primary energy source in order to continue to operate your body. You then lose muscle mass, your metabolism starts to slow down, to store the low amount of calories you consume.

And when you resume eating habits richer in calories, you take the pounds and lost even more.

Your metabolism is slow, calories now arriving in greater quantity can not be burned quickly, so they are stored in fat in your body.

The diets that put your body in a state of famine you weaken, promote headaches and nausea, plus expose you to sudden desire to eat anything that you fall under the hand. Also, health problems more serious could occur. These regimes that suddenly deprived of calories your body are not beneficial to your health.

Losing weight quickly is not a solution health. Opt for a healthy lifestyle that you adopt a long term and you can keep your healthy weight, while being in great shape.
