Mini Tummy Tuck

The Mini Tummy Tuck is designed for patients who have loose skin in the lower abdominal areas (below the navel), but have retained good muscle tone above the navel. The advantages of this procedure are that the incision tends to be shorter than in a Full or Extended Tummy Tuck, and the navel (belly button) stays in it’s original location.

The Procedure

The surgeon makes an incision above the Pubic hair and below the bikini line. Next, the skin is lifted, excess fat removed, muscles tightened, and the excess skin removed. The surgeon then closes the opening by bringing the upper line of the skin down to the lower line incision and suturing it together.
